The X10 Experia is Sony Ericsson’s attempt to take advantage of the very popular Android operating system. Since Android is now the best selling smart phone operating system this really isn’t surprising. The question is how well have Sony Ericsson done at creating a phone that can compete in a tough market.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10The first thing that most people notice about the X10 is its size, this phone is fairly large compared to its competitors. Of course part of the reason for that is that it has a bigger screen than other phones as well. Despite its large size the X10 is a fairly light phone, this is primarily because it of the heavy use of plastic. Although it keeps the weight down it does give the impression that the phone is a little flimsy.

The touch screen is excellent very large and with a high resolution. That makes it very easy to read even the smallest print which can be a problem with a lot of phones. The large touch screen also makes it fairly easy to type with the QWERTY keyboard.

The Android operations system is of course excellent, one of the reasons that Sony Ericsson chose to develop this phone. The interface is outstanding and navigation is very easy. There is a reason that Android phones have become best sellers and anyone using the X10 Experia will quickly come to the same conclusion.

There are a couple of negatives with the X10 the biggest being the camera. The picture quality is fairly good if there is a lot of light but not good at all in low lighting conditions. This seems to be an issue with the flash, hopefully future versions come with a better flash. Another complaint is that unlike most of its competitors the X10 Experia doesn’t include a built in GPS navigation system, this is a fairly big oversight since most smart phone users expect there to be one. If you can get one of those awesome Sony Ericsson X10 Deals dialaphone is offering these obviously don’t matter too much, but I wanted to mention them anyway.
